Andrii "Liashch" Lashchev was a fan of the Cardinal futsal club (Rivne) and a representative of the "Fany'93" supporters' group.

Andrii Serhiiovych Lashchev was born on March 1, 1997, in the town of Radyvyliv, Rivne region. He attended Radyvyliv School No. 1 before graduating from the Rivne Cooperative College of Economics and Law with a degree in Commodity Science and Commercial Activity. He later continued his studies at the Lviv University of Trade and Economics, where he earned a master's degree in Entrepreneurship, Trade, and Exchange Activity.

He was passionate about sports from childhood, taking his first steps in football as a goalkeeper and winning numerous awards. He loved computer games, was a fan of Harry Potter, and regularly went running to stay in good physical shape. He enjoyed an active lifestyle, paddleboarding, and took great pleasure in attending football matches, visiting museums, and discovering new and interesting places.

Andrii was among the first active fans of the Cardinal club. He joined the movement in 2014 after finding the contact details for the fan sector on his own and attending a match against LTK Luhansk. He actively supported the team during the 2014/15 and 2015/16 seasons and cheered for the Ukrainian national team at the 2019 Youth Futsal World Cup, which our team won. In the memories of his fellow fans, "Liashch" remains an initiative-taking person who was never afraid to express his own opinion, even if it meant confrontation.

After moving to Kyiv, he worked at an IT company, where he proved himself to be a responsible and hardworking professional. He loved reading books and listening to a wide range of music—from Ukrainian folk and military songs to hits by Metallica, whose concert he dreamed of attending. Andrii valued discipline and routine; he led an active lifestyle and was a determined, quick-learning, and hardworking person who sincerely respected his friends and loved ones.

Even in civilian life, he was actively interested in military affairs and history, attending events and lectures organized by the Azov Regiment. He also participated in a charity run dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the founding of the Azov Regiment. After joining the military in December 2024, he served as a driver-electrician for the unmanned aerial systems unit of military unit 3057. In the army, he took the call sign "Shum."

His brothers-in-arms recall that "Liashch" was always highly responsible in his duties. To his family, he would often repeat, "Everything will be fine," as a way to reassure them.

Andrii Lashchev was killed on July 17, 2025, when an enemy FPV drone struck his unit's UAV position in the village of Berestok, Donetsk region, causing fatal blast and shrapnel injuries. He is buried at the Leviatyn cemetery in his hometown. He was posthumously awarded a state decoration for his courage and selfless performance of military duty.
